Booking Information

All the rooms are doubles or twins and there are also several family suites.

The rates vary according to the time of year, the size of the room, and the location.

A single rate is offered during the week on most of the rooms. Minimum two and three night stay discounts are available between Sunday and Thursday for certain periods. For further details please contact us. Rates include VAT and a continental buffet breakfast.

All bedrooms are en suite and non-smoking, with minibar, telephone, colour TV, tea and coffee making facilities.

Check-in from 2pm unless by prior arrangement, check-out 11:00am (11:30am on Sundays and Bank Holidays).

Limited private parking nearby is usually available when reserved in advance at £10.00 per night. This parking is available for hotel guests use only.

The Hotel Restaurant is no longer open for lunch and dinner. Reception will be happy to make reservations for you at one of the many restaurants within easy walking distance or a taxi ride from Bath Place.

We accept all major credit cards excepting American Express. Payment by cheque must be supported by a cheque guarantee card, and only Sterling Travellers cheques are accepted. Please see below for booking conditions.

Booking and Cancellation Policies

 

BOOKING PROCEDURES
A deposit of £50 per room per night is required to guarantee a booking of up to three rooms and can be paid by one of the following methods:

Full details of a credit or debit card can be given in lieu of the deposit following which a confirmation will be sent. Ten days prior to the arrival date the card will be *pre-authorised for the full amount of the stay. If the card is not authorised the Hotel will inform the client immediately to request details of an alternative card for pre authorisation. If pre authorisation is not obtained the Hotel reserves the right to cancel the booking forthwith.

Alternatively the deposit payment can be made by bank transfer (bank details on request), cheque (supported by bank card) or cash, provided that payment is received no later than ten days prior to the arrival date.

Upon receipt of the deposit the booking will then be confirmed. The Hotel reserves the right to cancel a booking if payment is not received within this time-frame.

*Pre-authorisation is a process which enables the issuing card company to reserve an amount on behalf of the Hotel ten days prior to arrival guaranteeing the booking. The process can be reversed in case of cancellation, subject to the hotel’s policies below or in case of an alternative method of payment at the time of departure.

BLOCK BOOKINGS
To reserve three or more rooms a non-refundable deposit of £50.00 per room per night, must be paid within eight weeks of arrival before the booking can be confirmed. Cancellation within four weeks of the arrival date will incur full charges.

DISCOUNTED BOOKINGS
If following confirmation, the number of rooms or nights originally booked are reduced the discounted rate will no longer apply and the standard room rate relating to the period will be applied.

THIRD PARTY BOOKINGS
When accommodation is reserved by a third party, all the cancellation charges automatically become the responsibility of the third party.

 

Please contact us immediately if you need to alter your booking in any way as failure to do so will be deemed as acceptance of the booking as set out on the confirmation sheet and the above conditions. All amendments or cancellations must be made in writing, canceling by telephone is not acceptable.

We respectfully remind guests that a reservation made verbally or in writing constitutes a legal contract between themselves and Bath Place Hotel and our booking and cancellation policies will be strictly enforced.
